Soren has worked as a product designer, a front end developer and, for four years, the person responsible for a design system used by six product teams. Sitting on both sides of the handover taught him that most design arguments are really arguments about states nobody drew.
A founding instructor at Beesy Academy, he teaches interface design to people with no formal design training and front end development to people starting from an empty folder. He is stubborn about accessibility and about shipping something that works on a small screen and a slow connection.
How Soren runs a room. Nothing is finished until the empty state, the error state and the loading state are drawn. Those are the screens your users will actually meet.
