Beatrix produced live radio for six years, then led internal communications for a healthcare group of four thousand people. Live radio taught her how to be clear at speed. Internal communications taught her that most messages fail before the second sentence.
She joined Beesy Academy in 2023 and now teaches speaking and workplace writing. Her sessions involve a camera, a timer and a lot of rewriting. Students routinely say the recorded playback in week one was the most uncomfortable and most useful thing they did all year.
How Beatrix runs a room. You will be recorded speaking in the first session and again in the last one, and you will watch both. Progress you can see is progress you keep.
